Enzyme and Chemical Peel Aftercare Guidance
Following these guidelines will help you get the most from your treatment while supporting the long-term health and glow of your skin.

Always wear sunscreen daily with at least SPF 30.

Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours.

Wait until your skin fully recovers before getting additional treatments like laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion, or injectables.

Avoid using chemical exfoliants such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid for at least 7 days.

Avoid physical exfoliation (scrubs and devices such as fascial cleansing brush, gloves, etc.) for at least 7 days.

Avoid facial hair removal methods such as waxing, threading, tweezing, or the use of hair removal cream for at least 7 days.

Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24-48 hours.

Avoid excessive sweating, saunas, steamy showers, and strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours.

If you experience flaking/peeling, avoid picking, pulling, rubbing or scrubbing your skin. Let your skin shed naturally.

Cleanse your skin with tepid water and use gentle skin care products. Pat, don’t rub your skin when applying moisturizers, serums, or sunscreen.

Nourish your skin with a medium-to-thick moisturizer. Drink plenty of water to help keep your skin hydrated.
