Please Pass the Sugar - Scrub

One can never have enough sugar – scrub that is! Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that promotes healthy, radiant skin. AHA’s loosen dead skin cells so they slough off more easily allowing new skin cells to resurface. Sugar combined with an oil makes the perfect exfoliator that not only polishes the skin but hydrates it too. When using a sugar scrub, be gentle. First, dampen skin with warm water and then apply the scrub. Using your fingers, gently rub in a circular motion using light pressure. Rinse the scrub off with warm water, and pat your skin dry. For sweeter-looking skin, say yes to sugar – scrub that is!
